Go Out and Vote, Milton!

NOTE: This site has an RSS Feed, so you can subscribe and will be notified of updates.

In 2006, 4 out of 5 people in new parts of Milton did not vote.  Four. Out. Of. Five.

If you are one of them then maybe if you voted, we would have better roads. Maybe you wouldn’t hit every traffic light when driving. Maybe road construction would be faster. Maybe the local share of the hospital would have been funded. Maybe our taxes wouldn’t have gone up as quickly. Maybe our neighbourhood roads wouldn’t be race tracks. Maybe developers would be more responsive. MAYBE.

But we’ll never know, because you didn’t vote.

On October 25th, 2010, don’t let your voice go unheard. Take a stand. PARTICIPATE. Vote.

After all, it’s your RIGHT. It’s your neighbourhood. It’s your park. It’s your hospital. It’s your property value. It’s your environment.

It’s your home.

Having the right people in council to represent you can make a difference between failed, ignored neighbourhoods and successful, vibrant communities.
